Restorative yoga creates physiological responses in the body
that can reduce the effects of chronic stress and stress-related disease.
the body is supported by comfortable yoga props, to reach deep relaxation and move towards balance.
Some poses are held for up to 15 minutes or more, some less.
Restorative yoga is “active relaxation” where relaxation is a state in which there is no movement, no effort, and the brain is quiet. You are neither overstimulated nor depleted.

” I have been struggling with very painful hips for such a long time. I have been to physio, a chiropractor and a specialist for them. They trouble me so much that I am often up in the night several times to warm bean bags to put on them and, in the morning, I usually have to get out of bed before I want to because they hurt so much. Not this morning! I woke up this morning, pain-free in my hips! I truly couldn’t believe it. I could feel my pelvic area relaxing and cracking with each breath during that first pose last night.
